"Nobody wants to say the word cancer," Snowbird tells Matt in the preview clip for the next episode of "Alaskan Bush People" this week via the Discovery Channel website. For weeks, there has been a lot of talk about the true condition of Ami Brown, with rumors spreading that she has late stage cancer.

Ami's condition can't be fix

While Ami's diagnosis was not specifically detailed in the clip, Snowbird's statement can be taken as an indication that their mother's health is in a serious situation. She said that they were able to fix many obstacles in life, but what is happening right now is something they can't fix.

Matt shared that they consider Bird to be the toughest Brown kid. She's that someone who would not give up easily. So as the family faces their darkest hour so far, Snowbird is the one they can depend on taking care of everybody.

Browns leaving LA

Meanwhile, ABP Exposed Facebook page said that a source confirmed that Ami has lung cancer, which is at stage 4. The Brown family members are all in Los Angeles, but they are moving to a new location.

Previous reports indicated that the chemotherapy and radiation treatment were not successful in slowing down Ami's condition. With that, it is possible that the family is looking for a different place for Ami's treatment.

ABP Season 7 Episode 1

The "Alaskan Bush People" returned for Season 7 just barely three months after airing Season 6.

Last week, they aired a special episode, which was a recap of what the Brown family went through in the past seasons. This week, it is promised to be an all-new episode. Titled "Faith & Family," the synopsis teased that the family will show how they face adversity together.

While their way of life is under threat of being drastically changed given Ami's situation, they try to find strength from each other.

Matt and Snowbird get to have a heart to heart talk, assuring each other that the family is a strong bunch of people who have got each other's backs.

Ami is also trying to be strong. She tells Billy in the preview that she's tough enough to handle her condition. Moreover, Matt and Ami confirm that the Browns will have to leave Browntown.

“We’ll shut the book on the forest, and we’ll open a new book,” the "Alaskan Bush People" matriarch tells her husband.

As the condition of Ami looks bleak, fans are sending their well-wishes on social media, hoping that she will recover.

"Alaskan Bush People" Season 7 airs every Wednesday on Discovery Channel at 9 p.m.
