Tonight on the premiere of Rachel Lindsay's season of "The Bachelorette" everyone got to meet Lucas Yancey. He kept making sure to say his Catch Phrase "Whaboom, " and it really drove everyone crazy. The thing is now everyone is already wondering if he is there for the right reasons or not.

As Lucas got out of the limo, he had a megaphone and started out yelling out the window to Rachel Lindsay. She wasn't sure what was going on at first. If you saw Lucas, you noticed the shirt he had on during the show.

What is Lucas Yancey up to now

Well, it turns out that Lucas is already trying to sell shirts on his website.

These are like the shirt he had on during the show tonight, and they are only $15 with free shipping. You have to wonder if this is part of why he wanted to do "The Bachelorette" was so that he could make money off the show. He is even offering people another free shirt if they share it on Instagram. The thing is there is more to Lucas Yancey than just this "Whaboom" thing he is doing on the show.

It is obvious that he is trying to work on his social network followers. A lot of people who were on "The Bachelor" or "The Bachelorette" leave the show and then get paid big bucks for posting on social networks. Lucas is at least thinking about that now, obviously.

Lucas Yancey says that "Whaboom" is a lifestyle

Chris Harrison explained a bit about Lucas recently and said, "It's a lifestyle. It's an essence. It's who he is. It's a noun. It's a verb. It's an adverb, like you can be whaboom, and you can be whaboomed, and you can whaboom. And you can call somebody a whaboom. It's a lot." He is obviously hoping that this catchphrase will catch on for him.

So far, it seems like he has just annoyed the viewers instead of making them love him. You never know if he will end up on "Bachelor in Paradise" or not.

Lucas has been doing this "Whaboom" thing for a while now, at least four years. It is part of his comedy routine. There you go. It looks like we have discovered the reason that Lucas wanted to be on "The Bachelorette." If he can get his name out there, he could end up helping his comedy career.

A lot of singers and actors join the show, but a comedian could end up getting help from being on the show as well.
