When "The Voice" 2017 continued May 1 on NBC, the 11 aspiring singers still vying for the season 12 championship took to the stage again to sing for America's votes and extended competition life. Although the voting window won't close until 9 AM Pacific on May 2, a quick look at the Itunes chart at 8 PM Pacific --just as the hit reality show began to air on the west coast-- shows that several of the hopefuls mentored by super star coaches Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, and Alicia Keys may walk away with iTunes bonuses before the week's dust settles.

Aspiring country singer leads iTunes vote following top 11 show

Last week, it was Team Gwen's Brennley Brown who claimed the sole iTunes bonus awarded, but this week, a different rising country singer leads the way. Team Blake's Lauren Duski, who finished a heartbreaking 11th on the iTunes chart last week with "Lord, I Hope This Day is Good", holds the field-best iTunes chart placement as of press time: her take on Randy Travis' "Somewhere in My Broken Heart" sits at number nine. As long as Duski's cover doesn't slip from the top 10, she will score her first iTunes vote mulitplier of the season.

The full preliminary iTunes vote results as of press time are as follows:

  • 27. Brennley Brown (Team Gwen), "River"

When "The Voice" 2017 continues May 2 on NBC, nine artists will be saved to sing again based on the public vote, while two will face off for the Twitter Instant Save.

Last week, Mark Isaiah punched his ticket to the top 11 by besting Troy Ramey in the show-concluding sing-off; will he once again find himself in danger of elimination, or will two new performers find themselves on the hot seat?

To see the final iTunes vote results for the week, check the top 200 chart at 9 AM Pacific tomorrow morning. To help decide the results of the Twitter Instant Save, log in to Twitter during the East Coast broadcast time on May 2 and vote for your favorite contestant.
