Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez are having a baby together. After months of rumors suggesting Lopez had fathered the "Teen Mom 2" star's third child, Lowry has finally confirmed that he is, in fact, the baby's father.
On May 2, after OK! Magazine shared a post on Twitter about a recent DNA test and asked fans if Lopez was really the reality star's third Baby Daddy, Lowry spoke out. "Ancestry DNA & yeah he is... stop with the headlines already."
Kailyn Lowry continues to face backlash on Twitter amid her third pregnancy
After Kailyn Lowry's tweet was shared, a couple of commenters pointed out that she continues to whine about the ongoing headlines regarding the identity of her third child's father when she's the one who created the storm.
As fans will recall, Lowry has steadily hinted at Lopez's involvement with her pregnancy while also telling fans that she isn't ready to confirm who fathered her child. She even declined to comment on the issue when asked about the topic by "Teen Mom 2" after show host Nessa Diab.
In addition to the controversy surrounding Lowry's baby daddy, the reality star has also been hassled online about her decision to welcome a third child with a third man. Just last year, prior to her divorce from Javi Marroquin, Lowry claimed she no longer wanted to have any more children. Instead, she explained at the time, she preferred to focus her energy on her career.
Lowry has also been slammed for following in the footsteps of her "Teen Mom 2" co-star, Jenelle Evans.
Evans and her fiance, David Eason, welcomed daughter Ensley in January of this year and she also has two older children, Jace and Kaiser, with two other men, Andrew Lewis and Nathan Griffith. Meanwhile, Lowry has two older sons, Isaac and Lincoln, from her past relationships with Jo Rivera and Javi Marroquin.
Kailyn Lowry hinted that Chris Lopez was the father months ago
During an Instagram live broadcast earlier this year, Kailyn Lowry joked about naming her child "Holden" by saying that someone named "Chris" would say, "I'm holden the baby." She also nicknamed her third child "Baby Lo," which many believed stood for Lopez.
Lopez has not yet spoken out about the baby but in January, he shared a tweet about his "miracle" child.
Kailyn Lowry and her family, including her exes, Rivera and Marroquin, are expected to return to MTV sometime later this year in "Teen Mom 2" season eight. No word yet on whether or not Lopez will be joining Lowry in front of the camera.
