A lot are now anticipating the coming of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”As a lot of assumptions and fan-made theories are now swirling, it remains to be a hot topic how Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) will return to the Resistance.

With his imminent comeback, a lot is expecting the Jedi Master and his twin sister General Leia Organa’s (Carrie Fisher) reunion is happening. However, it seems like the Jedi Knight is going to face Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) for an epic battle that might make her meet her son Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

Hence, in a recent interview with The Star Wars Show at the Celebration Orlando, Daisy Ridley considered the upcoming eighth episode as “more ominous.”

A darker second installment

There is an ongoing prediction that “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” will be darker compared to the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” In fact, the first trailer for the much-awaited movie can prove this claim with its intense turn of events and Luke’s last mind-boggling line, “It’s time for Jedi to end.”

With that, the 25-year-old actress teased that things will be more threatening in the film’s eighth installment than what was seen in the previous chapter. However, Ridley didn’t say anything about it and end her interview that left fans with more questions.

In “Episode 8,” it is expected that the First Order will take its revenge with what happened with Starkiller Base. As the second installment in the trilogy is said to be more menacing, it is quote assumed that in the third movie, all the heroes of the Resistance will return to fight for the light side.

A mother and son’s reunion

On the other hand, according to Making Star Wars and some spoilers on Reddit, General Leia will be captured by the First Order and will be taken aboard Super Star Destroyer with the sinister Snoke. Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie) is said to be the one who will present the Princess of Alderaan to the mysterious villain.

General Leia and Snoke go on an exchange of words and the latter got very angry when she threatens him of Luke’s return. He, then, sends her to the holding cell and calls up General Hux (Domhnall Gleeson) to tell Kylo Ren that he got his mother.

Hence, there might be a big chance that General Leia and his son with Han Solo (Harrison Ford) will meet at the end of the movie. However, fans should only take this with a grain of salt as Disney and Lucasfilm have yet to confirm this assumption. So fans should just watch for the return of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” on Dec. 13.
