Sonja Morgan is very proud of the way she handles herself on “The Real Housewives of New York”. She's very proud of the life she lives, including having her interns at her townhouse and being open to guests whenever they need a place to stay.
So, when Tinsley Mortimer, the new housewife on “The Real Housewives of New York”, needed a place to stay, she opened her doors and allowed her friend to stay with her. But she quickly learned that Tinsley was much different than her previous houseguest, Luann de Lesseps. On the show, Sonja is clearly struggling with what to say to Tinsley about her behavior.
Is Tinsley ungrateful for her free stay?
It's not that Mortimer is acting ungrateful. Sonja just has some clear visions for how a houseguest should act. For example, Morgan feels that it would be polite for Tinsley to get up in the morning and make a cup of coffee since she is essentially living in New York for free.
On the other hand, Tinsley feels that she's a much better houseguest if she gives Sonja Morgan space and freedom that she wants in her own home.
In her own blog for the show, Tinsley has revealed that she's worried about how this issue could affect their friendship. She doesn't want to lose her friend, but she's tired of being mocked. While she does appreciate the free stay, she doesn't appreciate how she has to abide by rules, including who she can hang out with while out in New York City.
Sonja's feelings may still be hurt, so she's playing dirty
On Twitter, Sonja recently opened up about how she really feels in regards to Tinsley. She made a subtle dig in a tweet where she shared a fun video of a home tour of her townhouse she filmed when Luann was living with her. On Twitter, she wrote that it was a lot of fun to have Luann living with her and that it was a total contrast to Tinsley.
She then asks her fans what they think about the whole thing. It seems like an unnecessary dig at her co-star from “The Real Housewives of New York”.

Maybe Sonja Morgan feels that it's very important for a guest to recognize everything that she's been through over the past couple of years.
Sonja almost lost her beloved townhouse in the bankruptcy filings just a few years ago, so to be able to have a guest stay with her may be a way to celebrate her victory.
