Ryan Edwards is caught up in a shocking drug scandal on "Teen Mom OG," but according to his fiancee, Mackenzie Standifer, the rumors regarding Edwards' alleged drug use and a potential trip to rehab are completely "ignorant." Following Monday night's show, Standifer was faced with a message from a fan who wanted to know how she felt about spending the rest of her life with an alleged drug user.
"Time to get [Ryan] to rehab," the fan wrote in a message to Standifer. "Are you ready to spend the rest of your life wondering if [Ryan] is high?" In response, Standifer wrote, "Well, I am ready to spend the rest of my life not worrying about ignorant comments."

A short time after Standifer caught Maci Bookout's wedding bouquet, Edwards got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage.
Like Edwards, Standifer is the parent of one son, who she frequently shares photos of on her Instagram page.
Edwards' proposal took place during a dinner cruise on a riverboat in Tennessee and aired during an episode of "Teen Mom OG" earlier this year.

On last night's new episode of "Teen Mom OG," Maci Bookout told her co-stars, Catelynn Lowell and Amber Portwood, that she was afraid Edwards would ultimately take something he wouldn't come back from. As fans may recall, Bookout previously claimed she received a text message from one of Edwards friends in regard to something troubling about his health.
Because both Lowell and Portwood have dealt with addiction in one way or another, Bookout found their comments about Ryan Edwards to be helpful and ultimately told her husband, Taylor McKinney, that she was planning to confront Edwards in hopes of prompting him to go to rehab.

According to Bookout, Edwards would likely be willing to go to rehab, but because his family is in denial about his alleged drug problem, they may not be on board with the idea. Still, as Bookout explained to McKinney, she felt it was necessary to talk to her former boyfriend, the father of her eight-year-old son, because his life may be on the line.
She also opened up about her fears for an overdose.
