The fans of "Rick and Morty" season 3 were shocked when the episode 1 of the animated series was surprisingly released on April Fool's day. Now, viewers are waiting for episode 2 to be aired, but Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon are still working on the new episodes.

According to a recent report from Nerdist, Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon are now working on the all new "Rick and Morty" season 3 episodes. Apparently, Roiland has been asked to method act Rick's story as a drunkard while working on the new episodes of the TV series.

A short clip has been shared online, which showed Roiland drinking tequila shots while working on an upcoming episode of the show. Those who watches the TV series are aware that Rick is a very high-functioning alcoholic, which will be shown in episode 304 of the series.

Harmon reportedly advised Roiland to take tequila shots, as he does his job in the recording booth. Roiland even enjoyed taking several shots of tequila while Harmon recorded his "drinking session." The associate producer of the hit series, Sydney Ryan reportedly warned Harmon that alcohol could change Roiland's way of working on the series. As per Ryan, it was reportedly the least productive day and the messiest recording they have ever done.

Perhaps, the showrunners just want to make their job fun by adding some twists on it.

Harmon teases release date, spoilers and more

Fans are still waiting for more news and confirmation about the season 3 spoilers from Adult Swim. Yet, one thing is for sure. Rick will be drunk in several episodes of season 3.

Harmon has never failed to excite the fans of RaM show by posting questions and even pictures about the animated show on his social media account.

One of his followers even stated how much he wanted to see a new season of the animated series when Harmon asked what will happen if he announces the release of episode 1 for season 3. The follower said it always has what the viewers wanted and then, Harmon replied by giving the link of episode 1 for streaming.

Now, fans have been waiting to see episode 2 of the hit TV series.

Speculations are making rounds that it will be released on June 27, 2017. But, it is yet to be confirmed by Harmon and Roiland.

"Rick and Morty" season 3 will be returning to small screens in summer. Fans will surely have a lot of fun episodes to watch out for. As of this writing, the release date is yet to be announced.
