A post written on the Juicy Scoop Facebook page claimed that Vicki Gunvalson was seen with Brooks Ayers during her trip to Cabo.
The post alleged that the two were "grinding" and are "still together." The claims didn't go without objection from someone close to Gunvalson, who called out the post for being a lie. A friend of Vicki's shot down the rumors, saying that she was with her in Cabo.
Who started the false rumor?
It's believed that the rumor may have been started by fellow "RHOC" cast member, Tamra Judge or from someone who might have thought they saw Vicki with Brooks together. Tamra is scheduled to appear on Juicy Scoop's podcast in June and some suspect the rumor could be derived from her, but there's no proof. These two women have become enemies and have a tendency to go too far when they want to hurt someone.
Vicki Gunvalson is thought to still be with Steve Lodge, a man she met last year at a charity event. He was seen on a few episodes of "RHOC" that the other ladies seemed to approve of. The last time she posted a photo on her Instagram account of them together was five weeks ago. They were celebrating their first year anniversary as a couple.
Vicki gushed about how lucky the two of them are to have each other. Judging from their social media accounts, they keep busy with their own lives but enjoy those special times when they get together.
Gunvalson wouldn't risk losing her friends and family
It's hard to envision Vicki going back to Brooks no matter what considering the fallout that would inevitably occur; her Friends And Family would be dismayed and all that she's worked to redeem since their breakup would be erased.
There's little doubt that Gunvalson is willing to risk all of that after what all has happened.
Fans can rest assured that it's highly unlikely Vicki is back with Brooks. She might even have Steve come back on the show again in the upcoming season. "The Real Housewives of Orange County" season 12 premieres later this summer on Bravo.
