Those who were watching part 3 of the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" Season 9 reunion show last Sunday saw a very angry Peter Thomas remove his mic and leave the stage. At first, it was hard to tell what had Peter so angry but he cleared that all up with a recent interview where he tore into Phaedra Parks, claiming that the reality star attorney is not good for the show.
Is Phaedra Parks good for reality TV?
According to Peter Thomas, Phaedra Parks is not good for reality TV. Cynthia Bailey's ex-husband says that the much-loved Phaedra is too secretive to make good reality TV.
Why? Because Peter thinks she hides too much of her real life and refuses to let the cameras in when it counts.
After bringing her husband Apollo Nida on the show only to end up fighting him in a bitter divorce, Phaedra hasn't been willing to date while cameras are rolling or have a love interest on the show. She's been very reluctant to let cameras inside of much of her personal life as well and considering that Bravo paid Phaedra $1.4 million to film last season and get not much content, Peter Thomas just might be right.
This might also be why the southern belle is also rumored to not be returning for Season 10. During the previous season, Phaedra's biggest role was to be the one stirring all of the drama between Porsha Williams and Kandi Burruss.
While most people already knew, or at least suspected, that Phaedra was behind the rumors that Kandi wanted to drug and rape Porsha, it was revealed right at the end of part 3 of the "rhoa" reunion show that it was Phaedra who started the whole rumor in the first place.
Why does Peter Thomas blame Phaedra and Porsha for his divorce?
It was also revealed during the Season 9 "RHOA" reunion that Peter Thomas feels like Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams played a role in the end of his marriage to Cynthia Bailey. While Peter maintains that he and Cynthia are still on friendly terms, he also says that it was the other two co-stars who helped convince his ex-wife to walk out on their marriage.
While Peter was married to Cynthia, he was plagued with cheating rumors. Peter recently took to Instagram to explain exactly why he hates the pair called Frick and Frack so much, claiming that they helped spread the rumors about him. Peter feels like Phaedra and Porsha's involvement in the gossip about his marriage may have caused Cynthia to question him and ultimately to walk away.
