The production being done

The production of ‘Han Solo’ film is being carried out in Los Angeles, Thailand, London, and Toronto.

In 2014, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that two standalone movies would be developed and released in coming months. Shortly after this announcement, Kathleen Kennedy stated that the projects would not crossover with the original “Star Wars” film.

Jack Reynor, Miler Teller, Dave Franco, Ansel Elgort, Logan Lerman, Scott Eastwood, Blake Jenner, and Emory Cohen were auditioned for the role of Han Solo in February 2016.

After a month, Alden, Taron, and Reynor were shortlisted, and finally, Miller was chosen to play the character.

Disney behind the film

The Walt Disney Company is behind this mega-budget movie. It has its headquarters in California and is one of the largest companies to date. Founded in October 1923, the company has established itself as a leader in Hollywood. Every year, it develops hundreds to thousands of live-action films, television series, and documentaries.

Previously, some of its animated movies were criticized for having sexual references hidden in them.

These include “The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin,” “The Lion King,” “The Rescuers, and “Who Framed Roger Rabbit.” But the studio claims that “Han Solo” is a complete family film and will come up the expectations of fans.

Since 2015, the studio is in the news for a live-action television series of the same name.
