Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had been in an on-and-off relationship. Now, the 24-year-old singer dishes on her reunion with Liam and opens up about her sobriety from marijuana, as well as her upcoming Album.

What Cyrus has given up for Liam

After getting engaged in 2012, things went wrong, and they broke up in 2013. Liam and Miley were reunited and get engaged again early last year.

“I needed to change so much. And changing with someone else not changing like that is too hard. Suddenly you’re like, ‘I don’t recognize you anymore.’ We had to refall for each other,” Cyrus told Billboard.

When they stepped out to the public to confirm their getting back together, People reported that Miley had changed a lot, allegedly just to please her fiance. Sources of the publication said she's been doing yoga, has given up partying and is taking herself more.

In the interview with Billboard, which kind of broke her self-declared "media-blackout," she revealed that she's not drinking and she has quit taking weeds for three weeks now. It was her longest period of being sober from marijuana so far, and she enjoys having a clear mind. She explained that she wanted to be as sharp as she can and be surrounded with people who would make her a better version of herself.

New single is about her love for Liam

The first single off her new album is titled "Malibu," which is a song about Miley and Liam's relationship. "They're going to talk about me if I come out of a restaurant with Liam. So why not put the power back in my relationship and say, 'This is how I feel?'" she told Billboard. The song will come out on May 11, while her album remains untitled and will be released later this year.

As Miley continues working on her new album, rumors about her and Hemsworth's wedding are still swirling in the grapevine. Their marriage has been put on hold for several times, with Cyrus' busy schedule for the new album being the latest culprit.

The couple was rumored to have planned to tie the knot his summer, which is not yet happening.

Miley reportedly wants to make a bang when she returns to the spotlight, first as a coach on "The Voice." Also on her bucket list is a performance at Coachella and on Super Bowl next year, according to the Inquisitr.

Miley and the 26-year-old "Hunger Games" actor don't seem to be in a rush to get hitched. They live in adjacent homes in Malibu, and sources say nothing much would really change when they get married. For now, the two are focused on their career.
