This charity event is traditionally organized by the editor of American "Vogue" Anna Wintour, and this year it was dedicated to the Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo. The event was filled with unusual fashion combinations
Exhibition of Rei Kawakubo, who is behind the brand Comme des Garçons, will be open on May 4. Visitors will be able to see 150 of her famous creations.
This event always has a particular theme, and this is the second time in history that the theme of the Met Gala is a designer. In 1983 Met Gala was organized in honor of Yves Saint Laurent.
Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen were hosts of this year's event, next to Wintour. The evening was marked by Rihanna, whose fantastic costume was an integral part of the exhibition. Katy Perry wore an unusually long red dress, and her face was covered with a red veil. In cooperation with the designer John Galliano, she added something of her own. It was in the form of three large diamond rings, and a personal touch was given with the word "witness".
Kendall Jenner had a provocative transparent dress with 85000 crystals sewn on it.

Diddy, A$AP Rocky, Brie Larson, Paris Jackson, Ashton Sanders, Luke Sabbat, Michelle Monaghan and Lily Aldridge. It is unknown whether Kylie will be fined for violating the rules and whether the photo which collected nearly 3.5 million likes will be taken off her profile.
