Jill and Derick Dillard are still living in Central America while on a mission trip. Jill just went to their family blog to share some really scary news about a friend who was actually murdered. This is someone that they have been spending a lot of time with while on this mission trip and just recently had in their home for a meal. Jill is heartbroken over the news.
Jill Explains How Close They Were to This Friend
Jill shared that on Monday they got a call that their good friend was murdered and his body was found down by the river. This was actually the friend that just dealt with a lot of loss in his life.
His 20-year-old cousin was murdered, his grandmother passed away and then his daughter had a stroke. Now, it turns out that he was murdered. This is obviously really scary for Jill Duggar Dillard. She is living in Central America while pregnant with her second baby boy. Jill revealed that in the past few weeks they had this friend in their home three times. He was a Christian and someone they really enjoyed spending time with on this trip.
Jill shared saying, "Last week at this time his wife was teaching us to make traditional food, and we all enjoyed lunch together. The Saturday before, we fixed an "all-American" lunch (hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, and watermelon) as a special treat since we knew how much our friend loved it.
" They had a great time before his murder and this man will be greatly missed by all of them.
When Are They Coming Home?
Jill and Derick Dillard are in a scary are of Central America, and the fans just want them. Jill Duggar Dillard revealed that they wouldn't be staying there very much longer actually. Jill shared that they are Coming Home soon.
They have been very open with the fans that they have plans to be in the states with their family when their second son is born. Jill and Derick love going on these mission trips, but they are taking their young son along with them, and a lot of people feel like this is a huge risk. They don't seem to mind at all, though. Jill and Derick seem to think that the risk is worth it.
