In "american crime story,” the directors, Larry Karaszewski and Scott Alexander, recreate the murder of fashion designer, Gianni Versace. The fashion world was stunned when Versace was shot to dead in front of his house in July 1997. And that shocking moment is recreated in the American series.
The famous actor, Darren Criss, was spotted yesterday in Miami on the sets of the show. The best segment of the show is “The People v. O.J. Simpson.” The 10-episode series will premiere on FX in 2018.
‘American Crime Story’
It is co-produced by Brad Falchuk, Ryan Murphy, Brad Simpson, and Nina Jacobson.
It is a spin-off of the sitcom, “American Horror Story,” and first premiered in the United States in February 2016.
The story is inspired by a novel of the same name by Jeffrey Toobin. The cast includes Sterling K. Brown as Darden, Kenneth Choi as Lance, Christian Clemenson as Hodgman, Cuba Gooding as Simpson, Bruce Greenwood as Garcetti, Nathan Lane as Bailey, Sarah Paulson as Clark, David Schwimmer as Kardashian, John Travolta Shapiro, and Courtney B. Vance as Cochran.

The promotions, reception, and awards
In November 2015, FX released the first promotional clip for "American Crime Story," showing a barking dog running through the street.
Two months later, three new trailers were released, showing all the main characters of "American Crime Story."
The show has received critical acclaim. On the review aggregator, Rotten Tomatoes, it has an approval rating of 75% based on 43 reviews. On Metacritic, "American Crime Story" has a score of 80 out of 100 based on 52 critics.
Many critics praised the performances of Vane, Schwimmer, and Paulson, while others admired the storyline. Dan Feinberg from The Hollywood Reporter said that the series is an excellent collection of talented performers. Brian Lowry from Variety praised the casting of Nathan Lane as Bailey and Connie Britton as Resnick.
The show has received numerous awards, including two Critics’ Choice Television Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, four TCA Awards, and five Primetime Emmy Awards.
Born in December 1946 and died in July 1997, Gianni Versace was an Italian designer. He laid the foundation of a fashion house, Versace, and gained popularity in no time.
