"General Hospital" spoilers are promising a lot of action over the next few days. The Nurses Ball is an event many fans look forward to every year and this time, the drama is high. Between the crisis with Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and her kidney to the strain with Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Valentin's (James Patrick Stuart) marriage, there is no telling where things will end up. The "General Hospital" writers have worked hard on May sweeps to bring up the ratings and it looks like their actions are going to pay off.

Relationships crumble

As "General Hospital" fans have watched the last couple of weeks, Brad (Parry Shen) has been working hard to destroy Finn (Michael Easton).

After it was suspected that he was tampering with the drug tests, Griffin (Matt Cohen) decided to let Hayden (Rebecca Budig) take the test. As it turns out, it was proven he was setting up Finn. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, "General Hospital" spoilers allude to the fact that Brad will get what he deserves when Lucas (Ryan Carnes) breaks up with him at the Nurses Ball. After getting married because he believed Brad changed, Lucas finally realizes that he is still the same person he was before.

There have been a lot of issues in the love department in Port Charles. Aside from the Brad and Lucas break up, there is drama between Nina and Valentin and Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright).

A lot is supposed to happen at the Nurses Ball including something to Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) and a major clue in the mystery surrounding Morgan's (formerly Bryan Craig) death. So much is happening, no one quite knows what to expect.

What happened to Lucas?

The idea that Brad and Lucas are going to be ending their marriage is confusing to some fans.

Ryan Carnes has been missing from "General Hospital" for several months now. These two were a huge fixture at the Nurses Ball last year and after that, it was like they both disappeared and popped back in when it was relevant. Brad is tied to the Finn storyline and now, they are bringing Lucas in to give him someone to answer to regarding the bogus lab tests.

There is some confusion about why Brad was kept on and Lucas wasn't because of the ties to his family. It will be interesting to see where this heads as the Nurses Ball approaches.

Tune into "General Hospital" next week as the Nurses Ball begins. It is running Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and it is something you won't want to miss.
