"Days Of Our Lives" comings and goings reveal that actor Shawn Christian is set to make yet another return as his former character, Dr. Daniel Jonas. The actor will portray is former character in spirit form, as Daniel has been dead and gone for over a year now. Of course, Dr. Dan will be seen by his former fiance, Nicole, who is currently on the run with the couple's daughter Holly, and has been taking prisoner by Deimos Kiriakis and his evil nephew, Xander. The situation is getting close to coming to a head, and fans are eager to see what will happen when Nicole finally figures out that her former love interest, Deimos, is behind her kidnapping.

Meanwhile, "Days of our Lives" spoilers reveal that Shawn Christian will be back as Daniel Jonas and that he'll interact with Nicole, likely in her time of need. Soap Hub reports that the character is set to return just as actress Arianne Zucker is about to wrap up her two-decade run as fan favorite character Nicole Walker. Perhaps Nicole will die and when she crosses over she'll be met by Daniel, or Dan will be there to offer advice and support to Nicole as she makes a big decision to leave Salem behind for good. There has been no official word on how the character of Nicole will be exiting the NBC Soap Opera. However, many viewers believe that the show won't kill off Nicole in hopes of bringing her back in the future.
Be on the lookout for Will Horton
However, "Days of our Lives" has brought back characters from the dead multiple times. In fact, the soap is gearing up for the return of murdered character Will Horton. Actor Chandler Massey will reprise his role as Will, who was murdered by the necktie killer, Ben Weston. The story behind Will's return is sure to be an interesting one, and fans are looking forward to having Chandler back in Salem.
However, Will's return will also bring major drama. As Will heads back to Salem he'll find that much has changed in his husband Sonny's life. Sonny has moved on and is in a serious relationship with Paul. The two have been growing closer by the day, and are even making plans to live together. Will's return is going to be shocking for Sonny and Paul, and his mother, Sami Brady.
Actress Alison Sweeney is set to return to share scenes with her on-screen son, and fans can't wait to see the actress back on the show.
Vivian Jovanni says goodbye as Ciara Brady
Meanwhile, another character is set to say farewell to Salem this week. Vivian Jovanni will make her final appearance as Ciara Brady on Friday. While Ciara may be gone from Salem for awhile, Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that a recast is likely in the works, and that fans will be seeing Ciara again on "Days of our Lives" in the near future.
