The television presenter, bill nye, has revealed interesting facts about the famous television series “Stranger Things.”

He says that the series is set in the fictional town of Indiana in the 1980s. The first season focused on the murder investigations of a young boy. The police officer, Jim Hopper, discovers that supernatural powers haunt the boy's house. Bill Nye took it to Twitter to share his thoughts about the show. He believes that “Stranger Things” will win numerous awards this year and is one of the most talked about programs on social media.

The series features Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, David Harbour, Millie Bobby, Gaten Matarazzo, Natalia Dyer, Caleb McLaughlin, Cara Buono, Matthew Modine, and Charlie Heaton.

‘Stranger Things’ – a brand new television show

Directed, produced, and written by Duffer Brothers, “Stranger Things” is a science fiction series with Joe Keery and Noah Schnapp in supporting characters. The first season received positive comments from critics, while the second season is currently in the works. Nye claims that Dacre Montgomery and Sadie Sink are new cast members, and Duffer Brothers will develop the show with a mix of investigative drama and supernatural powers.

Several dialogues and scenes have been inspired by the works of John Carpenter, Stephen King, and Steven Spielberg.

All episodes of the first season were released on Netflix in July 2016. The show received several industry awards and nominations, including one Screen Actors Guild Award, and two Filmfare Awards.

The new season will open with the events of the first season, exploring the mythology of Will's disappearance.

Bill Nye describes that the second season will focus on Will’s family and other residents in the city affected by supernatural powers. In 2015, Matt and Ross Duffer officially announced that they had completed writing the story and dialogues of “Stranger Things,” and would soon begin production.

The filming being done

The first season was entirely shot in Atlanta, while the second season is being filmed in Georgia.

Several suspense and horror scenes have been shot at the Georgia Mental Health Institute and Georgia International Horse Park. Filming for the new season began in November 2016, with Rebecca Thomas serving as director for first five episodes.

The famous animation studio, Amblin Entertainment, will provide computer-generated effects for the monsters and other parts of the series.
