When Lucas Yancey stepped out of the limo to greet "Bachelorette" star Rachel Lindsay, it was clear he would go down in history as the most annoying contestant in the history of the show. Repeatedly screaming "Whaboom" and shaking his head so hard that it should have popped off, fans were certain that he would go home during the first rose ceremony.

Instead, Rachel gave him a rose. Prepare yourself for more "Whabooming" on the second episode of "The Bachelorette" — and his antics may not stop there. That's right. Rumor has it that Lucas will be sticking around for awhile and we are all cringing.

Fortunately, he's not going to last long enough to make it to the final rose ceremony. And we're all thankful for that. But, what's the story with Lucas? Is he really an actor? Here's the scoop.

Lucas has been on TV before 'The Bachelorette'

We were all sick of Lucas the minute he arrived. It's clear that producers are keeping him around to give ratings a boost. But, seriously, he's not even funny, so what gives?

Although he's not well-liked, everyone's talking about him. Twitter is full of "Whaboom" comments and that's exactly what producers want. The more we talk about Lucas, the better. Even if we don't want to.

Yancey's ABC bio doesn't tell us much about him, other than the fact his business is "Whaboom." Ugh.

Stop that right now, Lucas. But we dug a little deeper (if that's possible) and found out that he isn't a newbie when it comes to Reality TV shows.

Lucas appeared on the WeTV reality series, "Ex-Isle" before joining the Bachelorette 2017 cast. He wasn't the only guy from Rachel's season to appear on the show. Blake Elarbee was also on "Ex-Isle" along with his ex-girlfriend.

Apparently there's some bad blood between Lucas and Blake — we can't wait to see an epic showdown between "Whaboom" and the equally annoying Blake. You know, the guy who talked about the size of his penis during the premiere? Yuck.

'Paradise' bound?

Yancey has an IMDB page. It's essentially an online resume for actors. But we can't say that he's really an actor — maybe a reality TV show star?

And we use the word "star" loosely. Whatever he is, Lucas has a ton of YouTube videos online and we can expect him to produce a lot more. And maybe sell teeth whitener and "Whaboom" t-shirts on Instagram.

And then there's "Bachelor in Paradise." Although ABC has yet to confirm the cast, there's a good chance producers will bring "Whaboom" to "Paradise" this summer.

Spoilers point to Rachel eliminating Lucas around Week 4, so he won't be a contender for the next "Bachelor," thankfully. But he's a shoe-in for "Paradise" — keep an eye on his social media accounts because filming starts next week.
