It is almost time for rachel lindsay's season of "The Bachelorette" to start airing, and one guy has already upset a lot of the viewers. Contestant Bryce Powers made a transphobic comment that has Bryce under fire already. Us Magazine shared the details about what he did that has so many people upset.

What exactly did Bryce Powers have to say?

Bryce is a thirty-year-old firefighter who at first looks like a great match for Rachel Lindsay. In his biography on the network’s website, Bryce Powers said something that really upset a lot of people. He was asked what his biggest dating fear was and Bryce's answer isn't going over well.

He said, "The chick is actually a dude." It is obvious that Bryce was just sharing his thoughts, but it really did upset the LGBT community when he said it. Bryce is very lucky that this isn't a show where people vote for their favorites. Rachel Lindsay has already filmed her entire season so if she picks Bryce Powers then this could cause quite the stir.

He isn't just getting comments from people who love the show, but also from celebrities. "RuPaul’s Drag Race" winner Sharon Needles tweeted on Friday, May 19 about it and said, "Bryce from the Bachelorette’s biggest fear is trans women who are attempting to conceal their birth sex. I see why yer single, douche bag." If you just check social networks, a ton of people are going off about this comment.

Bryce may lose any chance of being on "Bachelor in Paradise" if he upsets people enough. They haven't actually cast this show yet.

ABC later took the comment off of their website, and a spokesperson told The Wrap, "This comment does not reflect the views of ABC, Warner Horizon or bachelorette Rachel Lindsay.” So far, Bryce Powers hasn't had anything to say at all about it, though.

You have to wonder how he is going to act on the show and if this is going to be something that makes the fans hate him. There is always a villain, and if Bryce Powers isn't careful, it could be him already. Lindsay also hasn't shared her thoughts about it either. The viewers would love to hear her thoughts and if it upsets her what he had to say or not.

Bryce Powers apology is also something they want to see that hasn't happened yet. Everyone is expecting him to do it, but he doesn't seem ready to say a word.

Are you surprised to hear that Bryce Powers made this comment? Does it make you like him less?
