On Sunday Night, many of the biggest stars in the music industry will take the stage for the latest awards show. The 2017 Billboard Music Awards will have entertaining performances, dressed up presenters, celebrity spectators, and of course, awards handed out.

Luckily, viewers can catch it all on live television starting with Billboard Music Awards red carpet show live streaming online. Here are the latest details on how to watch tonight's show live streaming online, or on TV as it happens.

Nominees, hosts, and performers

With Ludacris and Vanessa Hudgens hosting tonight, it will be a night of giving praise to music's best of the best.

Back in April, the nominations were announced for tonight's awards show. Drake and The Chainsmokers lead all nominees with a total of 22 nominations.

Among the awards that the Canadian hip-hop star will be vying for are Top Artists, Top Male Artist, and the Top Billboard 200 Artist. The Chainsmokers are competing in the Top Artist, Top Duo/Group, and Top 100 Artist categories among others.

Other stars in the Top Artist category that Drake and The Chainsmokers are up against include Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Twenty One Pilots, Beyonce, Adele, Shawn Mendes, and The Weeknd. How's that for a stacked category with plenty of competition?

When it comes to the Top New Artist, Alessia Cara will take on Desiigner, Lil Uzi Vert, Lukas Graham, and Zayn.

Will one of the new stars of hip-hop walk away with the award or an emerging pop star?

Those are just a few of tonight's categories for which awards will be handed out.

There are plenty more ranging from Top Social Artist to Top Touring Artist to Top Streaming Song and Top Radio Song. Yes, radio still exists in some corners of the world!

In addition to all of the hardware being passed out, musicians will provide on-stage entertainment. Among the stars taking the stage tonight will be Celine Dion, Cher, Bruno Mars, Florida Georgia Line with John Legend, Nicki Minaj, Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Ed Sheeran, The Chainsmokers, and Drake.

Of those stars listed for Billboard performances, Drake seems to have something major up his sleeve to dazzle the viewers at tonight's event, so stay tuned!
