Netflix renews season 2

While Netflix has renewed for a season 2 of "13 Reasons Why", changes have been made. Diana Son will no longer return, and Tony and Brian Yorkey will replace her. Netflix confirms that the upcoming episodes will inform on what happened to the other characters in Hannah’s tapes. Apparently, healing and recovery are the two main themes for Season 2. People feel that this was needed after showing Hannah’s suicide in a horrific way.

Not everyone feels like '13 Reasons Why' is appropriate

Some schools in Canada have been reported to not allowing any discussion or watching of the show on school grounds.

The wait for season 2 begins

There may be a season 2 of "13 Reasons Why" but there won't be a sequel to the 2007 novel by Jay Asher.

He too wants to know what happens to the other characters. But from what it sounds like since Netflix is making a season 2 of "13 Reasons Why", he doesn't need to write a sequel. Which is disappointing for book readers. But if season 2 is anything like the first season, fans won't be disappointed. "13 Reasons Why" season 2 is set to release sometime next year.

Just like the first season, the second season is to contain 13 episodes, with each one being an hour long.

Who else is trying to patiently wait for next year when we find out what happened to the other characters? While we wait, did you know that Katherine Langford or Dylan Minette had read the book "Thirteen Reasons Why" before being cast to star in the series?
