Recently, we got our hands on some extra info about "The Walking Dead's" upcoming season 8 from the TV Line folks. Apparently, they had another chat session with showrunner, Scott Gimple, who told them that Rick is ready to make some big sacrifices in an effort to finally take down this pesky and extremely violent Negan character! He said, Rick is going to be ready to suffer any loss, even if that loss means himself! The reason why, is so he can make sure his people and other people get the life they should have. He wants a world where it belongs to everyone and not just one, freaking person.

The only choice

Rick now realizes that's the only choice, so he will definitely be willing to face all the losses that could occur as a result of it. Lastly, Scott made sure to explain that Rick will still feel the hurt from the losses if they do occur, God forbid. However, at the same time, he has a good grasp of the huge thing they are doing and the extremely high cost that comes with it. Alright, so that's all the extra info they were able to drag out of Scott at the moment, so we'll just have to wait until he's ready to let some more stuff slip before we hear anything else from him.

Chandler Rigg's tweet

In the meantime, we do have some other info on season 8 from around the internet world.

It turns out that on April 19th, 2017, the Carl star, Chandler Riggs, hit up his official Twitter account to reveal that he just got done reading the script for the season 8 premiere episode. He said that he just got done reading it, and simply said: " oooo man it's good." I know. I know. That doesn't give us anything, really, but I just thought I'd mention it.

New regulars

Then we've got some other details from Digitalspy.com that seems a little bit more enlightening. I turns out that a few of the season 7 characters have been promoted to regulars for season 8. They are: Steven Ogg aka character Simon, who is Negan's right-hand man. The cute, little Katelyn Nacon will be reprising her Enid character, and Pollyanna McIntosh, who plays that betraying psychopath, Jadis.

That info tells us that we'll definitely be seeing Jadis and her army back in action at some point. And of course, as we already know, Negan and whoever is still left alive from his crew, will still be causing lots of trouble. Only this time, there's going to be a big war, baby! I can't wait to see it.

As previously reported, season 8 is scheduled to deliver up another 16 crazy episodes. The premiere episode will be the show's 100th episode, and is going to offer up quite the bang, according to the show's leading man ,Andrew Lincoln aka Rick. The action is all set to start up in October 2017 sometime. Stay tuned.
