The Last Jedi” is the next episode of the “Star Wars” series. These sci-fi movies have always bowled the audience with their storylines and technological marvels that improved with each episode. It may be recalled that Luke Skywalker removed his hood in the final moment of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and the stage was set for a waiting game.

Luke Skywalker will shine

New Zealand Herald reports that during the official Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Florida, the actors and director of “The Last Jedi” dropped a few hints to arouse the curiosity factor and keep the interest alive for fans and followers of “Star Wars.”

Five aspects will add more spice.

These are more of Luke Skywalker and, everyone will be on tenterhooks to guess Skywalker’s identity. Then there are the bad guys who will retaliate with Finn, the Stormtrooper-turned-rebel, making a comeback. And, finally, it is the episode where Carrie Fisher does her final performance.

‘The Last Jedi’ worth waiting for

In Episode VII, Luke Skywalker had appeared for only a few seconds and did not have any dialogue to deliver. His fans presumed that he was dumb and to add to the confusion, Mark Hamill, who portrayed the role, jokingly said that Skywalker communicates telepathically. However, Kathleen Kennedy, the president of Lucasfilm, has assured the fans that “The Last Jedi” revolves around Skywalker and the original posters are proof of that.

Another aspect of the film is the arch villain, Kylo Ren. Director of the movie Rian Johnson reveals that the bad guys, The First Order, will return with a vengeance.

To add to the fun, Finn, the stormtrooper-turned-rebel, who was left battered and bruised at the end of “The Force Awakens”, is shown asleep, probably in a coma.

John Boyega portrays the role and will take on The First Order. This film is a sort of test for all the characters but especially for Finn who wants to secure his place.

And, last but not least, is Carrie Fisher who portrays the role of Princess Leia. She had finished all her shooting for the film, and her sudden demise was a shock, but the show must go on, and her character will get the new name of General Leia for future movies.

Sci-fi films are always special

Films of the sci-fi genre always have a special appeal for viewers and fans and supporters allow full freedom to their fantasies to take wings and join the brigade of mutants and robots who thrive in another world. “Star Wars” is one such movie that is now into its VIII episode which is proof or its popularity. Such films are challenges to everyone connected with the film tight from the actors, the creative groups and, of course, the director. It is their joint effort that goes to make a film like “The Last Jedi” to keep the audience spellbound with characters like Luke Skywalker and Carrie Fisher.
