We are a few weeks away from the release of “Pirates of the Caribbean: dead men tell No Tales.” This fifth entry in the blockbuster franchise is racking up some surprisingly positive early reactions from fans who have had the chance to see several teaser trailers at CinemaCon.

Ten brand new international posters have been released for the film. The batch of stills showcases Hector Barbossa, Captain Salazar, Henry Turner, Karina Smyth, and Captian Sparrow. Directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg, “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” features Javier Bardem, Kaya Scodelario, Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Brenton Thwaites, and Keira Knightley in the leading roles.

The movie will sail into theaters on May 26, 2017.

Dirty Jack and Daddy Orlando

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” is one of the most anticipated films of this season. It features some old faces such as Depp, Rush, and Bloom, with new additions like Javier Bardem. Javier plays the undead Captain Salazar.

The new promos and posters for the film feature Daddy Orlando showing some fatherly affection, and Dirty Jack in a romantic mood. After a long time, Johnny Depp is returning to the big screen in an iconic role of Jack Sparrow. He has been shown in almost all teaser trailers and posters for the film.

A swashbuckler film

“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” is a swashbuckler film produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

The filmmakers cite the first installment, “The Curse of the Black Pearl,” as inspiration for dialogues and script. Pre-production began shortly after the release of “On Stranger Tides” in 2011.

Initially planned for 2016, the movie was delayed to 2017 due to the budget and script issues. As of March 2015, the Australian government provided Disney with over $30 million as tax incentives, but it is unconfirmed whether the studio accepted the amount or not.

It is rumored that Disney will continue working on the“Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise without Johnny Depp. It means this is the last project of Depp with the famous studio. Chairman Alan Horn states that Johnny is an arrogant guy. Depp is hard to work with as he always demands costly costumes on the sets. They suggest him to amend his ways if he wants to succeed.

In several countries, the film will be released with the name of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge." We look forward to the mega-budget movie and wish the whole team good luck.
