The former Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner had completed her gender transition from male to female. Now known as Caitlyn Jenner, the reality star wrote about the gender reassignment surgery she underwent in January to complete the transition started almost two years ago.

New book

Caitlyn Jenner shared about the surgical procedure in an upcoming book, “The Secrets of My Life,” which would be out on April 25. She wrote that “The surgery was a success, and I feel not only wonderful but liberated,” Page Six reported.

Almost a year ago, author Ian Halperin, the family biographer of the Kardashians, claimed that in the next few years, Caitlyn is considering returning to being a male again.

The 67-year-old reality star was reportedly not happy “due to relationship reasons.”

Halperin claimed Caitlyn had a difficult time during the transition, including having a panic attack on the first day after she had the initial surgery. She was then recuperating from facial feminization surgery and had breast implants. But Caitlyn’s representative denied Halperin’s claim.

Male organ has no use

In the upcoming book, Caitlyn reportedly wrote that since her transition, revealed publicly in 2015 in an interview with Diane Sawyer and followed by a Vanity Fair feature, she wanted to have all the right body parts. "I am also tired of tucking the damn thing in all the time,” she reportedly wrote in the upcoming memoir.

One reason why the reality star decided to reveal to the public the Sex Reassignment Surgery that completed her gender transition is so people could stop staring. Caitlyn said the admission of a below-the-belt surgery in “The Secrets of My Life” is the first and last time she would speak about the medical procedure.

She took into account the potential health risks before undergoing the procedure.

Caitlyn said it was a “complicated decision” to take the risk and undergo surgery.

New look

In mid-January, Caitlyn announced she planned to have a nude photoshoot for 2017. The pictorial is her way of returning to television after her reality show “I Am Cait” was canceled after Season 1. Caitlyn is proud of her new body, according to her management.

Amazon is already accepting pre-orders for “The Secrets of My Life.” The hardcover version of the book has a price tag of $21, while the audio CD costs $22.90. A teaser for the book stated that “Caitlyn reflects on the inner conflict she experienced growing up in an era of rigidly defined gender identities, and the cruel irony of being hailed by an entire nation as the ultimate symbol of manhood.”
