There is still one week left for new episodes of “The 100.” That means there is no new episode tonight, April 19, 2017. Instead, fans will be treated to repeats of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” Those who want to watch the post-apocalyptic, dystopian future drama will need to wait a week.

The good news is the show is available on Netflix. It is possible to catch up with previous seasons. If you’re in Canada, you can actually catch up with the most recent episodes of season 4. For those in the United States, the most recent five episodes are available on the CW app to catch up on before the return of the show next week.

This isn’t bad news for the post-apocalyptic drama

For those who worry about the future of “The 100,” there’s no need to. The show has already been renewed for a fifth season. The break has been scheduled by the CW and is completely tactical. Because there are now only a handful of episodes left, the CW will want to make sure they air during the Neilsen TV ratings sweep.

During May of every year, Neilsen takes a look at their boxes to find out exactly how many people have watched individual shows. These ratings are then given to the networks to help them determine the future for their channels. While “The 100” season 5 and other shows have already been confirmed, the CW network will need the information to set the date and time of future episodes.
