Days ago, "Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans reportedly got under the skin of her co-star, Kailyn Lowry, after a post on her Facebook page included a link to a shocking rumor about Lowry giving up her "baby." While the report didn't actually suggest that Lowry was giving up her third child, many fans read the title only and assumed that Evans had started a nasty rumor. A short time later, Lowry responded to the report on her Twitter page and slammed an unnamed person for twisting her words. She even labeled the person as a "f**ked up" individual.

Evans also addressed the misleading Facebook story, telling fans on Twitter, “Just to throw this out there...

I don’t write any articles on my pages that are shared or posted about the other 'Teen Mom' ladies."

Jenelle Evans is being blasted by fans on Twitter

After sharing the story on Facebook and defending herself on Twitter, Evans was bombarded by fans who pointed out that she should be responsible for the stories shared on her page. After all, the page is under her name and according to The Hollywood Gossip, she gets paid a lot of money for posting the click-bait links on her social media page.

According to several fans, Evans, who is currently mom to three children, doesn't fact check stories before they are shared and spreading rumors is simply irresponsible. That said, The Hollywood Gossip also pointed out that Evans likely doesn't care about the content being shared -- she just cares about getting paid.

"Even if someone else operates her Facebook page (which seems to be the case), [Jenelle Evans] is still responsible for the content that gets posted under her name," the outlet explained to readers, adding that Evans played a major role in the recent rumor about Lowry being spread.

Kailyn Lowry has blasted Jenelle Evans before for gossip online about the 'Teen Mom' cast

Years ago, when Jenelle Evans was getting paid to post stories on Sulia, Lowry called her out for sharing stories, many of which were nothing more than rumors, with her many fans and followers on Twitter and Facebook. Still, that didn't stop Evans from doing so and now, years later, there's no sign that she will quit doing so anytime soon.

As for the rest of the cast, they have remained silent in regard to Evans' social media activity.

Jenelle Evans and her co-stars, including Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer and Chelsea Houska, are expected to return to MTV at the end of this year for "Teen Mom 2" season eight.
