“Chicago Fire” fans, there is some bad news. There won’t be a new episode on tomorrow night, April 11, 2017. In fact, there isn’t going to be a new episode of the men and women from Firehouse 51 for the next two weeks! NBC is taking a two week break in scheduling but will return the next week with season 5, episode 19. Fans will have to wait to find out how things will work out between Severide and Anna.

Is Anna walking away already?

The last episode of “Chicago Fire” season 5 was disappointing for many fans. After a few weeks of buildup, Anna chose to walk away from Severide after meeting his father.

The decision was completely out of the blue and fans were angry at her decision. They just want a reason and not everyone watches “Chicago Med” to get her full storyline.

Severide is completely confused. What he doesn’t realize is that Anna has decided that she and Severide don’t belong together. Instead of talking to him about it, she is cold and distant. There is a possibility that they will talk in the next new episode, because Severide isn’t going to give up without a fight.

Brett and Dawson will go back to training in ‘Chicago Fire’

Brett and Dawson’s storyline last week didn’t end up happy either. After taking the blame for the young trainee, who cracked a rib while giving CPR, they have been ordered to go back to training.

While they don’t want to do it, they just have to suck it up for now. There was hope that Boden would help get them out of it, but that isn’t going to be the case.

There are some similarities to “Chicago Fire” season 4, when Severide was sent on a manager’s course. Will Brett and Dawson have as much fun? Only time will tell and it isn’t clear just how it will affect Firehouse 51.

Casey gets help from a friend

Firehouse 51 always has something going on. The newest episode will see Casey turn to a friend from Squad 6 when Squad 3’s rig breaks down. The whole of Squad 6 will be temporarily reassigned duties, as they share a rig with Squad 3. How will that work out with Severide?

Connie is also going on leave, meaning a temporarily replacement will feature in the episode.

The last time the show had a temporary replacement, she turned out to be one of the most caring members of the team. However, it looks like that may not be the case for this one.

“Chicago Fire” season 5, episode 19 will air on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. There will be a two week break likely due to the collection of Neilson ratings. They take place throughout May, so networks want their shows to air during this month to determine whether they will be renewed next season.
