Week 3 of "Dancing with the Stars" Season 24 is airing on ABC on Monday, April 3. It is going to be a fun episode because it is Las Vegas night. Viewers who have watched the dance competition show for years know that the remaining couples will do their best to make it entertaining. They will also try to impress the judges so they can receive high scores and also get votes from viewers.

What to expect

Chris Kattan and Witney Carson were eliminated last week, but the eleven remaining couples will dance to classic songs from well-known Las Vegas Shows.

Expect to see performances from shows such as "Viva Las Vegas," "Shake Your Bon-Bon," "Big Spender," "Chapel of Love," and other favorites.

Simone Biles and Sasha Farber are the only ones dancing a quickstep. Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess will perform the Charleston. The only jazz performance will be done by David Ross and Lindsay Arnold. Erika Jayne and Gleb Savchenko will dance the only jive of the night. Two couples will dance a samba and tango. The most popular dance will be the foxtrot performed by not one, not two, but by three couples.

A special treat

Judge Julianne Hough and her brother (six-time champion Derek Hough) have a special treat for viewers. They will give a preview of their new "Move Beyond" tour that kicks off on April 19 in Akron, Ohio.

They decided to go on tour again after the success of their "Move Live" tours in 2014 and 2015.

Update about contestants

Even when viewers are not watching "Dancing With The Stars" on Monday nights, there is a lot going on during the week that fans like to know about, and a lot did happen last week. Maks Chmerkovskiy had surgery on his leg after sustaining an injury that kept him off the dance floor with Heather Morris during Week 2.

Alan Bersten stepped in for Maks, who was in the ballroom. He is now recovering in a hospital in Ashtabula, Ohio.

Charo threatened to quit the competition if judges don't give her better scores. Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy rushed in from China to perform last week. As soon as the show was over, they headed to Japan for Normani's engagements with Fifth Harmony.

Watch "Dancing with the Stars" on Monday, April 3 on ABC and enjoy the Las Vegas show.
