Paramount Pictures has released a brand new promo for “baywatch” reboot. It shows the two lifeguards (Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron) on the beach, while the villainous oil tycoon (Priyanka Chopra) plans to attack their group.

For the first time, the promo of “Baywatch” shows Alexandra Daddario and Kelly Rohrbach in their swimming suits. The red-colored outfits fit well to their bodies, creating excitement among fans.

In addition to Dwayne, Zac, Priyanka, Alexandra, and Kelly, the film features Ilfenesh Hadera, Pamela Anderson, Jon Bass, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and David Hasselhoff.

The development of ‘Baywatch.'

“Baywatch” is a forthcoming action film directed and produced by Seth Gordon, based on the TV series of the same name. The development of the movie began in February 2016, with most scenes being filmed on the beaches of Miami and Florida. Several action sequences have been shot in Georgia and Savannah. The popular television series was shot in Malibu, California.

The film is scheduled to be released on May 25, 2017. Paramount Pictures acquires the US distribution rights.

“Baywatch” is a story of two lifeguards who put aside personal differences and team up to fight against criminals. They aim to stop the villainous oil tycoon from her drug trafficking operation.

In September 2012, Paramount Pictures announced that Robert Ben Garant would co-produce and direct the film version of “Baywatch.” Dwayne has been attached to the project since October 2014, while Justin Malen was recruited in January 2015 to pen the story and dialogues.

Beau Flynn and The Montecito Picture Company will distribute the film in China, Japan, and other parts of Asia.

In November 2016, Paramount Pictures pushed the release date to May 25 to avoid competition with another highly-anticipated movie “Alien: Covenant.” It is a subsidiary of the media conglomerate Viacom.

In 2014, Paramount became the leading Hollywood studio to distribute all mega-budget movies in digital form.

In addition to “Baywatch,” the studio is behind the blockbusters “Little Fockers,” “Meet the Parents,” “The Croods,” “Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie,” “How To Train Your Dragon 3,” “Twilight Zone,” and “My Fair Lady.”

On the other hand, Chopra is busy with the promotions of her Hollywood debut and took it to Twitter to share movie updates. It has been rumored that the actress will appear in another reboot opposite Dwayne, but the officials have not confirmed anything.
