"Vanderpump Rules" star stassi schroeder has fans upset over her controversial comments in a new podcast. It all started when the reality star talked about the Oscars controversy on her podcast called "Straight Up With Stassi." In her latest episode, she made some insensitive comments in regard to the people asking the Oscars to address race in the entertainment industry. She and her guest, Stephen from Bravo's new reality series, "Summer House," were discussing the "Moonlight" and "La La Land" mix-up that happened at the 2017 Oscars last weekend.

Stassi admitted that she was tired of talking about race issues in general.

Reality star upsets fans with her racist remarks

She started out her by saying she knew she was going to offend her listeners. Stassi Schroeder then stated that she is tired of the conversation being about race. She argued that the actors were probably awarded on their hard work and merit, and not because of the color of their skin. Schroeder says that she is very much aware that she is a 28-year-old privileged white woman. But, she doesn't care what people think when it comes to her remarks about race issues in the country and in Hollywood.

She even told her listeners that they could stop following her or listening to her podcast.

The blonde starlet then asked her guest host why people always mention African-American actors and never Asian, Native American, or Latino actors. Stassi Schroeder continued to raise eyebrows when she said African Americans usually get upset and expect other people to make them happy. She also accused them of speaking up the most when it comes to race.

Did Stassi Schroeder vote in the 2016 election?

She and Stephen then referenced the #OscarsSoWhite controversy and they agreed that it's not always about race, it's about one's acting abilities. Stephen said that people will always find something to complain about. Both of them agreed that it's boring and unoriginal to discuss politics at awards shows when the main focus should be on the entertainment.

Stassi Schroeder's fans flocked to her social media accounts to inform her that racism still exists and why talking about race is still important. This is not shocking to some of her fans since she has tweeted more than once that she thinks Ivanka Trump is hot. She also has been rumored to not have voted in the last election. Schroeder has not apologized for her remarks. Instead, she has been getting into fights with people who have slammed her on her social media accounts.
