Abby Lee Miller is facing jail time for fraud charges and is moving on from "Dance Moms." Now the rumors are flying that instead of canceling the show they will actually replace her with someone else. Radar Online shared that rumors are that Cheryl Burke will take her spot. Cheryl obviously knows her way around the dance floor.
"Dance Moms" to start filming again today
The show will start filming again today, and now it sounds like Abby Lee Miller will be replaced. A source shared saying, "It’s a go with or without Abby. It’s been up in the air because the network said it’s either all of the cast or they weren’t doing any [more episodes.]” Another insider shared that Abby Lee Miller hasn't been there filming and that choreographer Laurieann Gibson took over for a bit.
Now they need someone to replace her on the series.
An insider shared that Abby Lee Miller came back with a ton of demands. She also didn't want them to talk about her fraud case at all. Late Sunday night, Abby shared that she wouldn't be coming back to the show again. Now they need to find someone to replace her for the show to go on. So far, Cheryl Burke isn't speaking out about the rumors at all.
Cheryl Burke has experience with dancing and reality shows both. She could be a great match for the show, but this would be totally different than the way it was when Abby was on the show. Cheryl would not have all of the drama that came along with Abby Lee Miller on the show.
When announcing that she was leaving the show, Abby shared that she doesn't have a problem with children at all, but it was something else all together.
She said, "I just have a problem with being manipulated, disrespected and used day in and day out by men who never took a dance lesson in their lives and treat women like dirt!" It sounds like she is just really upset and done, moving on.
