Hey, "Vampire Diaries" fans. That's right. CW did release the final ever spoiler promo clip (below) for your favorite show, last night. It gives us a little bit of new insight into what will be going down in the finale episode 16 of this last season 8. It all ends, here, guys. It's been a wild 8 years, but all good things must come to an end as they say. Apparently, they didn't want to give too much away with this clip, so they pretty much just showed us one scene from the actual finale episode. The rest, was just filler stuff for a one-hour special they're going to show before the actual episode.
Hey, it's better than nothing, is what I always say.
Throughout the years
In the last ever promo clip for this wonderful series, they show us past scenes from the show, revealing that they're going to start things out with their big one-hour special, which includeS castmembers from the past and present tO talk about their experience, working on the show. We even see one of the brief interview clips with the fantastic Nina Dobrev aka Elena Gilbert at one point. Also, during this special, they'll be showing behind-the-scenes clips from thIS final season.
Judging from the preview clip, it looks like they're going to talk about the Elena, Stefan and Damon love triangle for a portion of the show. They're definitely going back to the beginning to cover that.
Then after the big one-hour preview show is all wrapped up, we're going to be shown the big 2 hour finale episode 16 that we've all been waiting for.
Elena finally rises
The clip gives us a few scenes from that. One of the more significant ones, being Elena, getting up out of her casket and calling out Damon's name. Then his eyes get real wide as he says her name back.
It's going to be one hell of a moment, it seems. It also shows the two love birds, hugging each other with big smiles. The clip caps off, just showing us more past scenes, obviously not wanting to give away hardly anything pertaining to their big series finale ender. I guess that's understandable. Be sure to check out the new clip, below, and stay tuned. The huge finale episode 16 is set to air this Friday night, March 10th, 2017 at 7pm central time on The CW.
