Leacock has a schedule that never quits. It is no surprise after his 20-year acting career, this comes at no surprise. Known for his role in the hit series "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency," he has roles in ABC amazing mini-series "When We Rise," and Hallmark Channel's new film "Hailey Dean Mystery." Catch up with Viv and his latest cool projects.

Plays a father in a recent U.S. civil rights movement.

Colleen Bement: Let's chat about your role in the new mini-series "When We Rise." What a powerful story being told with this series. What can you share about it?

Viv Leacock: "When We Rise" is a story that should have been told a long time ago in my opinion. Fear is a powerful fuel for oppression. People always fear what they don't understand. What I can share about it is that I could feel a sense of importance and excitement while on set. The cast and crew were all very proud to be contributing in any way they could. No matter the size of your part, every second of that mini-series was a must see.

Viv has a blast playing one of "The Rowdy 3"

CB: Great news about season two of "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency." No doubt playing Gripps was the most fun that you've ever had on a set. Please share; and what do fans have to look forward to with your character?

VL: Yes! Thanks, we are all ready to get back at it! The cast and crew of, "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" have all become very close and we root for each other all the time. To know that we get a second chance to play together is brilliant. With Gripps it's definitely a different way to play, he Is a man of very few words but he walks with a really big stick and hits really really hard, haha!

Working again with our special effects team and our amazing stunt women and stunt men, Gripps and the rest of "The Rowdy 3" are gonna come off like bonafide superheroes! I do know a little about the season two plot line but I've been sworn to secrecy. You'll just have to tune in when season two airs later this year.

Sweet role opposite Kellie Martin

CB: Hallmark Channel's new movie called "Hailey Dean Mystery' looks interesting. Tell us about that role.

VL: "Hailey Dean Mysteries" is another favorite of mine. My friend, Kellie Martin plays the title character Hailey Dean and I play, Fincher Garland, an investigator for Atlanta's district attorney. He's described as Hailey's work husband and sometimes bodyguard, haha! Hailey is an ex-assistant district attorney turned psychiatrist that gets caught up in solving mysteries. Kellie and I hit it off immediately and have a massive amount of fun working together alongside the other cast. Giacomo, Matt, Lucia, and Peter are back as well as Terry Ingram our director from the first movie.

We all crack up on a regular basis.

CB: You are such a successful and busy actor. When you find downtime, what are your favorite things to do with your family?

VL: Our family is a busy one! To be honest with three kids under 11 my "days off" are when I am on set, haha! All three kids, Vienna, Lennox and Elias have individual interests, including piano, karting, and soccer. My wife, Divina and I spend a lot of time cheering for them. A long time before we had children I had always hoped to be able to spend quality time with them in their formative years. Coupled with the fact that I've been able to carve out a sense of normalcy while chasing this career, makes me extremely grateful.
