Danica McKellar returns to television screens this month in the Hallmark Channel presentation of “Campfire Kiss.” McKellar portrays a woman who persuades her son to attend a wilderness camp together so they can better their relationship. While at the camp, she meets a single dad and romance blossoms. The dad is played by Paul Greene. The new movie is set to debut on March 18. Showtime is 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Danica McKellar
McKellar is one of Hallmark Channel fans’ favorite sweethearts. She first gained a large fan base in 1988, when the then 13-year-old actress began a five-year stint as Winnie Cooper in the ABC series “The Wonder Years.” The part earned her several award nominations, and she earned a Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress Featured, Co-starring, Supporting, Recurring Role in a Comedy or Drama Series or Special.
Later in her career, she earned awards for her work in “Young Justice” and “Speechless.” She has had more than 80 roles as an actress. She also earned a degree in mathematics. McKellar portrays a math teacher in her new movie.
Paul Greene
This is not the first time Greene and McKenna have become an on-screen couple. In 2015, they were paired in the Hallmark Channel’s “A Perfect Wedding.” The theme of the movie is “opposites attract” with Greene and McKenna portraying characters hired for the same project as a wedding planner and event planner. They initially see eye to eye on virtually nothing, but later become a couple. Greene has appeared in several other movies. His television characters have included Philip McAdams in “Bitten” (Syfy Channel) and Benjamin Gray in “Wicked Wicked Games” (Fox Network).
The up-and-coming Dylan Kingwell
Dylan Kingwell portrays Arthur in “Campfire Kiss.” He recently portrayed Quigley and Duncan Quagmire in “A Series of Unfortunate Events” on Netflix. In 2015, he portrayed a young Sam Winchester in an episode of the CW Network series “Supernatural.”
The same year, he appeared in 10 episodes of the A&E Television Network’s series “The Returned.” He portrayed Victor / Henry Garrity / aka Zach.
