Chris Sullivan, who plays Toby on the popular NBC series "This Is Us," admits that he wears a fat suit. Most people didn't know the 36-year-old star not only wears a fat suit, but he also has prosthetic jowls. Sullivan admitted it when he recently appeared on Fox's daytime talk show, "The Real." Off the set, Chris is a flashy dresser. He loves wearing multi-colored pants and shoes. He told the women on "The Real" that he frequently gets pedicures. He even gets his toenails polished since there is no extra charge for that service at the spa.

While Toby struggles with his weight on the show, Chris doesn't have a weight problem.

He is pictured with his co-star Chrissy Metz where he is not wearing the fat suit that he wears on the show.

First episode

In the very first episode of "This Is Us," chris sullivan’s character, Toby, meets Chrissy Metz's character, Kate, in a weight loss support group. That episode aired on NBC back in September 2016, with just over 10 million viewers. People have fallen in love with the series and have watched Toby and Kate's relationship develop. Toby had a rude awakening after he was hospitalized with a heart attack. Afterward, he and Kate became engaged.

Metz doesn't wear a fat suit, but she made her own admission that it is written in her contract that her character is obligated to lose weight.

She said she did not hesitate to sign the contract because it's an incentive for her to lose weight. "This Is Us" has been renewed for two more seasons, and viewers will see Kate losing weight on the show as Chrissy loses weight in real life.

Fans have seen a slimmer Sullivan out and about, and they wondered if he was under contract to slim down like his co-star.

He did not sign a contract to lose weight. In fact, it is so easy for him because all he has to do is to take off his fat suit.
