Retired Gen. Michael Flynn is no longer the National Security Adviser for Donald Trump. After Flynn resigned on Thursday night, filmmaker Michael Moore had more than a few things to say.

Moore on "Team Trump"

The news came Thursday night, and Michael Flynn had officially resigned from his position as National Security Adviser. In recent days, Flynn had dominated the news cycle, as an increasing number of reports appeared to confirm that he illegally spoke with Russian officials in an attempt to reach a deal where previously enacted sanctions on the Kremlin that would be lifted.

Trouble started brewing inside the White House, as follow-up reports claimed the general was not being honest with members of the administration, including Vice President Michael Pence. As seen on his Twitter account on February 14, Michael Moore unloaded on both Flynn and Donald Trump.

"He's only first to go. One by one they will drop until the so-called president is told 'you're fired,'" Michael Moore wrote on Twitter early Tuesday morning, before adding, "Up next, Miller & Bannon." "Now that Flynn is gone, he can rejoin his son in pedaling the story that Hillary was running a pedophile ring out of Comet Pizza," Moore noted, while using the hashtag "#security."

"Fondly remembering traitor Michael Flynn at the Republican convention leading the cheer from the stage: 'LOCK HER UP.'" Michael Moore pointed out in his third tweet on the issue.

"Flynn was colluding w/ a foreign gov't accused of helping throw the election 2 Trump, promising them they would be taken care of," he continued, before calling for the former National Security Adviser to locked up, stating, "Arrest him."

Moore goes off

Michael Moore didn't stop there, and continued his Twitter tirade against the former host of "The Apprentice" and his administration.

"Let's be VERY clear: Flynn DID NOT make that Russian call on his own. He was INSTRUCTED to do so.He was TOLD to reassure them," he tweeted, while then calling for the president to be taken into custody by law enforcement, writing, "Arrest Trump."

"TRUMP KNEW EVERYTHING," the filmmaker went on to post on social media, before adding, "It will all come out.

Along with the rest of Trump's collusion & obedience to Putin. #IMPEACH." Moore then cited reports from The New York Times and The Washington Post to back-up his call for possible impeachment or arrest. "The Washington Post & NY Times now reporting Trump HAS KNOWN FOR A MONTH Flynn lied about the Russian call - and Trump did nothing. #IMPEACH." he tweeted. As of press time, the president hasn't made any official comments on the issue at hand.
