Jessa Seewald announced the name of her second son and in the same breath said she plans to have lots more children. Meanwhile, husband Ben Seewald is "Counting On" some family planning. How many more children do the reality television parents want, and will they outdo Jessa's parents Jim Bob and Michellle Duggar of "19 Kids and Counting"?

Jessa and Ben Seewald name second child

Henry Wilberforce Seewald joins big brother Spurgeon Elliot as the newest cast member of TLC's "Jill & Jessa: Counting On." The Seewalds' second boy arrived on Feb. 6 after a much less traumatic delivery than that of his elder brother.

Ben and Jessa Seewald wasted no time starting a family after marrying in November, 2014. Their first was born a year later and their second child a year or so after that. Baby Spurgeon is just 15 months old. And his dad is pretty young, too. Seewald was only 17 when he started courting Jessa Duggar and 19 when they married on "19 Kids and Counting." But, the young celebrity couple seem to have parenting down and are up for more babies.

Jessa Seewald counting on many children?

The reality television mom didn't give a number. That's in God's hands, along with the spacing and timing of the children. Like her parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, Jessa lets the Lord lead. They aren't of the quiverfull movement but they do practice natural family planning.

This form of natural birth control was developed by the Catholic church. God led Jessa Duggar's mom and dad to have "19 Kids and Counting" which they featured on the TLC reality TV series for many years. That show ended when the oldest son Josh Duggar was caught in a multi-faceted sex scandal.

Ben Seewald describes family planning strategy

The Duggars and their kids don't use artificial birth control such as the pill, condoms, or other contraceptives. They remain open to any life that God sends them and the Duggar clan has been sent a lot. They actually have 20 children, but baby Jubilee passed away before birth. Anytime one of the kids has a child folks logically wonder if they'll end up outdoing their reality television parents.

Ben Seewald has his own method of organization. Jessa said that right now they each take one of the children. But Seewald said that that one-on-one ratio will have to switch to "zone defense." They also hope for a home upgrade, as another ex-TLC star Mama June Shannon of "Honey Boo Boo" got recently.
