As the Stark kids are gradually being reunited, another one is set to return in “Game of Thrones” Season 7. The television series’ fan site Watchers on the Wall recently revealed that Maisie Williams, who plays the role of Arya, is recently spotted in Canada, Calgary to film the television series and it looks like she will be reunited with her best friend.

The said place is the exact location where the “Game of Thrones” Season 7 stars film the wolves’ scenes in front of a green screen, so they could digitally enhance it to be Direwolves. With that, there are strong assumptions that Nymeria will be reunited to its human, Arya, after being away after the first season.

Arya and Nymeria’s reunion

To add fuel to the fire, the company that trains “Game of Thrones” direwolves called Instinct Animals for Films is based in Canada and even shared snaps of its wolves on its Instagram page. The first one is Jon Snow’s (Kit Harington) direwolf, who has played as Ghost since 2015, named Quigley and the second one is an unnamed wolf.

The company captioned both of its snaps with “ready to work” and even used the hashtag #winteriscoming. Hence, the unnamed dog is believed to be Nymeria as it is uploaded the same time when Maisie Williams is seen filming in Canada.

Where are the other Direwolves in ‘Game of Thrones?’

Nymeria was last season in the first season of the show after she defended Arya and the butcher’s son from Prince Joffrey (Jack Gleeson).

Afraid that her dog will be punished, she then asked her to run away to save her life.

However, the death sentence for Nymeria was carried out on Sansa’s (Sophie Turner) direwolf, Lady, instead. From here the other direwolves have died. Robb’s (Richard Madden) direwolf, Grey Wind, was killed at the Red Wedding while Shaggydog, Rickon’s direwolf, was beheaded by Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) in the previous season.

Lastly, Summer, Bran’s direwolf, was killed by the Undead saving him. In George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire,” which “Game of Thrones” is based, it hinted Nymeria’s return as Arya heard rumors that a female wolf that has a huge pack is taking over the Riverlands.
