Ever since Donald Trump was elected president last November, the backlash against him has only intensified. While Trump is considered enemy number one for most Americans on the left, many others are thrilled with what he has done in the White House.

Coulter on Trump

Throughout the 2016 presidential election, Donald Trump has created a constant stream of controversy, which still continues to present day. Whether it's his policy proposals, controversial comments, or rants on Twitter, the former host of "The Apprentice" turned American politics upside down over the last year and a half.

With his candidacy has also come opposition, as protests have taken place on an almost daily basis since his inauguration last month. One person who is still a fan of the president is conservative author and commander Ann Coulter. During the February 22 edition of "Tucker Carlson Tonight" on Fox News, Coulter gave her thoughts on the president.

Joining Fox News host Tucker Carlson was Ann Coulter who was quick to praise Donald Trump for his first month in the White House. "So far I'd give him an A+," Coulter said of Trump, before noting, "He got an A just for replacing Barack Obama." Coulter went on to voice her support for how Trump has handled his relationship with the media, despite receiving massive backlash for his allegations of calling the mainstream media "fake news." "(Trump) gone after the media," she said, while adding, "No other Republican would have done that and it's an incredibly important thing to do." Coulter also doubled down on Trump's claim of the media being "fake news," saying it happens all the time.

Ann Coulter, as she has for some time, was happy with most of Donald Trump's actions dealing with immigration. "Why don't we just have an immigration policy that brings in people that help us, that makes our country a better place?" she wondered.

Not stopping there, Coulter went on to accuse legal and illegal immigrants of engaging in a high amount of crimes, including DREAMers, who she said were "committing murder and child rape." In closing, Coulter was asked what she would thought Trump could do to improve himself in office, and the author responded accordingly.

"I think he could tweet more," she said, before noting, "I love his tweets."

Moving forward

While people like Ann Coulter are still fans of the commander in chief, his recent poll numbers show that most Americans have lost their faith in Donald Trump. According to a poll released by Quinnipiac University on Wednesday, only 38 percent of the American people have a favorable view of Trump, compared to 55 percent who disapprove.
