"young and the restless" spoilers tease tense moments ahead on the CBS soap opera during the week of January 30. On Friday's episode, Dylan (Steve Burton) said goodbye to his family and went to a secret location to enter into the Witness Protection Program. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Sharon (Sharon Case) were left to mourn the possibility that they may never see him again. Can the feuding ladies bury the hatchet so they can support each other during this difficult time?

Nikki reaches out to Sharon

According to the February 6 issue of Soap Opera Digest magazine, Nikki rushes to Sharon's side after Dylan leaves for his secret location.

She is sensitive to the fact that Sharon is now all alone and will need someone to be there for her. Faith now lives at the main house. Noah (Robert Adamson) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) are adults and have their own lives. So, she does what Dylan would want her to do --- she offers her daughter-in-law compassion.

Is this a truce between them?

There has barely been a time when Sharon and Nikki have not been fighting on "Young and the Restless," but when she visits her daughter-in-law, her intentions are good. Nikki relates to Sharon's heartbreak and needs someone who understands and deeply feels the loss of Dylan.

Deep down, Nikki knows that Victor (Eric Braeden) cannot grieve for Dylan with her.

Sharon initially pushes back at Nikki when she tries to offer her support. "Young and the Restless" spoilers reveal that she tells her that she has Victor to lean on and she's all alone. Nikki then reminds her she isn't alone this time -- she has her and Paul (Doug Davidson) to lean on for support.

Apparently, it is a real tear-jerking moment.

Sharon's guilt is getting the best of her

"Young and the Restless" spoilers suggest that Sharon's guilt over concealing Christian's real identity is getting the best of her. She thinks that Dylan took the undercover assignment to escape the pain he felt when they lost custody of the baby to Nick (Joshua Morrow).

Sharon tells Nikki that it would have been better if Dylan would have died in Miami because she would have closure. Nikki tries to support Sharon by telling her that Dylan loves her and would do anything to be back home if it was an option.

Dylan arrives at his secret location

"Young and the Restless" spoilers indicate that Dylan arrives at his secret location without any trouble. Sharon asks Paul how she will explain his absence to their friends and loved ones. When he thinks about what to say, he comes up with an idea. Paul suggests telling people that Sharon's lies about Christian/Sully were too much to bear, and he decided to leave her and Genoa City. Will Sharon and Nikki go along with Paul's crazy idea?

"Young and the Restless" airs weekdays on CBS.
