"Young and Restless" spoilers tease tense moments ahead this week between Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan). When Hilary arrived at GC Buzz to clear out her things, she was pleasantly surprised when she learned that Devon was considering keeping her as the host of the show. She thought that Devon (Bryton James) would fire her as their marriage is on the rocks, but to her surprise, he begs her to stay, but she will have to share the spotlight with Mariah.
Devon feels confident that his marriage is over
While the "Young and Restless" spoilers point out that Devon is convinced that his marriage is over and his life has no place for Hilary's deceit, he realizes that she is valuable to GC Buzz.
He hopes that she will stay, but is prepared for her to tell him no.

Devon knows more than anyone that Hilary doesn't like to play by the rules, and may not agree to share the spotlight with Mariah. To his surprise, Hilary agrees to his terms.
Devon wants to test himself
According to the February 6 issue of Soap Opera Digest, Devon feels as if he has no other choice but to let Hilary continue her job at GC Buzz. Plus, he wants to test himself to see if he can handle being around Hilary without caving in and reconciling with her.

Hilary was prepared to leave her position.
However, she feels as if keeping her job may be her one shot at earning Devon back. The billionaire is quick to point out that he has no plans of getting back together with her -- he has to honor her contract, legally.
A new co-host

The expression on Hilary's face was clear; she wasn't planning on sharing the spotlight, most of all with Mariah. The spoilers suggest that the ladies will not get along from the start. Devon begins to wonder if he should have bought out Hilary's contract instead of allowing her to co-host GC Buzz.
