"The Walking Dead" season 7 returns in February and fans are looking forward to finding out what happens next. Even though it is known that Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) will be planning war, attacking Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) may not be the only thing they have in mind. Could the "TWD" characters be planning to save some people from the Sanctuary?
Planning the war
A promo clip of "The Walking Dead" season 7, episode 9 reveals that Rick Grimes and his group will start planning war right away. After the events during the first half of the season, Rick finally realizes that it is impossible to live life under Negan.
He now realizes how dangerous and lethal the "TWD" villain is and won't underestimate him again.
Why Daryl Dixon can't blow up Negan's community
In the promo clip, Daryl Dixon wants to blow up the Sanctuary. However, he is reminded that there are innocent people there. Negan and the Saviors use some people like slaves. Even though the Alexandrians want to be free of Negan, they also don't want to take innocent lives.
A rescue mission on 'TWD?'
Since there are people at the Sanctuary who are not there by choice, was this a clue? It seems likely that the group may try to rescue the slaves at the Sanctuary. However, Negan will have to be dealt with first. With the large number of the Saviors, there is no way they could successful rescue very many people.
There are just too many of Negan's men and they seem to be everywhere.
Will Dwight or Sherry help Alexandria win the war?
In Robert Kirkman's comic books, Dwight ends up feeding information to Rick. This actually helps the Alexandrians win the war. It is unknown if that will happen on the television show, but it is a possibility.
In one episode during season 7, it focused on Dwight's life. Fans also learned a little bit about how he came to be one of the Saviors. His wife, Sherry, is now married to Negan. It is speculated that she helped Daryl escape. Perhaps she will also try to help Rick and the others.
