Selena Gomez and The Weeknd were just caught making out on the streets of Los Angeles after enjoying a dinner date with one another at Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica. According to a TMZ report on January 11, Gomez appears to be making a comeback after taking a break from the spotlight for a few months at the end of last year, and when it comes to her love life, she's leaving Justin Bieber in the past.
In photos of Gomez and The Weeknd together, the musicians were seen getting quite handsy with one another as photographers snapped away.
In addition to being seen kissing on the lips, Gomez was seen planting a kiss on her apparent new flame's cheek as she walked with her arms wrapped around his neck.
Highly publicized romances are nothing new for Selena Gomez and The Weeknd
Before she was spotted with The Weeknd, Gomez was involved in an on-again, off-again romance with Bieber that appeared to end abruptly in August of last year when they got caught up in a messy Instagram feud after Bieber shared a photo of his now-ex-girlfriend, Sofia Richie. During the spat, Gomez called Bieber out for being unfaithful after he accused her of using his fame to get attention on herself.
As for The Weeknd, he was linked to model Bella Hadid up until the end of last year.
After striking up a romance as Hadid appeared in one of his music videos, the couple flaunted their love on the red carpet at the 2016 Met Gala. Then, in November, just weeks before they were set to reunite at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, they parted ways.
Selena Gomez is staying mum about her romance
Gomez has been highly active on social media in the past, but recently she has kept her updates to a minimum and when it comes to her relationship with The Weeknd, she hasn't said a thing.
That said, she recently appeared on Instagram live, where she spoke of her desire to rid her life of pointless relationships and focus on those that matter.
Selena Gomez is expected to release new music in the coming months. No word yet on whether or not The Weeknd will be featured on her potential new album.
