Hey, "Vampire Diaries" peeps. Welcome back from the long, midseason break. Here's what we're going to do for you. We've got a couple of juicy spoilers for the upcoming episode 9, straight from the official CW press release that we're going to deliver to you, right now. They sound pretty serious and pretty shocking as we've got Bonnie giving Caroline a reason to think she might want to turn into a vampire. Say what? Then evil Sybil decides to keep playing even more head games with Damon, and more.

They're back to search for something

To start things off , lets go over this pretty lengthy title they decided to go with.

It's being called: "The Simple Intimacy of the Near Touch." See, I told you it was hella long. According to the official synopsis, we're going to see Damon and Stefan, show back up in Mystic Falls at some point. The reason for this, is because that monster Sybil told them to. Apparently, she's still trying to track down the historical artifact, so she wants them there to look for it. The question is, will they have a run-in with some of our other characters? Will things turn pretty ugly? It's definitely going to be interesting.

The vile of blood debacle

Next, we've got a very intriguing plotline going on here with Bonnie. She has apparently, returned back from her trip to the city of love, Paris,France.

She's going to be sporting a vile of Enzo's blood, and it's described that this is going to cause Caroline to start thinking that Bonnie might decide to become a vampire. The obvious questions here, is does Caroline have a good reason to think this? Is Bonnie really contemplating this extreme decision? Whatever the case, if she decides to do this, I think things might get pretty silly.

Just let her stay human for this last season, geez.

He can't shake her

Last, but most certainly not least, we've got a big "Miss Mystic Falls" pageant that's going to be taking place. A lot of familiar faces will be in attendance. They include: Stefan, Damon, Caroline, Bonnie, and Enzo. The big problem that we'll be seeing in this scene, is that Damon is going to keep getting even more taunted by memories of Elena courtesy of evil Sybil.

How will this effect him in this moment? Will this pageant turn into a blood fest? It's going to be interesting to find out. That's for sure.

Ok, that's going to do it for this session. I do have some production credits to mention. Geoff Shotz handled all the directing duties for it while the team of Neil Reynolds and Penny Cox wrote up the script. Oh, and we can also confirm that episode 9 is set to air next week, January 20th, 2017 at 7pm central time on The CW. Stay tuned.
