Reason for Tarek and Christina El Moussa divorce
Rumors have been circulating for quite some time now, surrounding the divorce of "Flip or Flop" stars Tarek and Christina El Moussa. The former couple have a successful show on HGTV, but, following an incident involving Tarek and a loaded gun in the woods, things began to unravel for the pair. It was reported back in December by The Inquisitr that Tarek found texts from contractor Gary Anderson to Christina, and that that played a role in their eventual split.
'Flip or Flop' Christina El Moussa happy with Gary Anderson
There has been talk of Tarek dating and breaking up with his children's former nanny, and talk of Christina El Moussa dating the couple's contractor, Gary Anderson. It also seems that she has happily moved on from her "Flip or Flop" divorce, and is now happily spending time with Gary Anderson and his two daughters. One of Gary Anderson's daughters is getting married soon, and, according to Hollywood Life, the "Flip or Flop" star will be attending the ceremony as Gary Anderson's date. It certainly seems that she has moved on from her partner of 7 years, and that she is looking to build a future with boyfriend Gary Anderson.
Tarek and Christina El Moussa divorce not impacting 'Flip or Flop' on HGTV
According to People, the divorced couple still intend to continue on with their hit HGTV show, "Flip or Flop." It seems that, despite their personal differences, the couple is committed to continuing on with their show. That said, however, the network will be closely monitoring the situation to see if there will be a drop in viewers before they ultimately make a decision in terms of moving forward with the program.
There have even been rumors of a spin-off. Depending on how things work out, we may see Christina El Moussa, or even Tarek taking part in their own spin-off show a la Kate Gosselin following her split from Jon Gosselin and the cancellation of "Jon and Kate Plus 8." In Gosselin's case, she merely dropped her ex-husband's name from the show and continued on with her at the helm.
Whether or not we see a similar treatment with the El Moussa's, or whether they continue on with business as usual remains to be seen.
