"Days Of Our Lives" comings and goings for the week reveal that there will be a lot of activity in Salem. However, one character will stand out among them all. The fan favorite character of Eric Brady will finally be back in Salem this week, and fans are excited to hear what Eric has been up to since viewers last saw him. As many fans know, Eric was last seen headed to prison for the crime of vehicular manslaughter after he got behind the wheel drunk and caused the car accident that killed Dr Daniel Jonas on New Year's Eve of last year.

Eric Brady finally returns home to Salem this week

According to Soap Hub, Eric Brady will pop up on "Days of Our Lives" early in the week. Actor Greg Vaughan will reprise the role of Eric, who is the son of Marlena Evans-Black and Roman Brady, and twin brother to Sami Brady. Also with the arrival of Eric Brady will come to a new character named Alana. Actress Lexi Johnson will play Alana and will share scenes with Greg Vaughan's Eric this week.

The character of Jade has been recast

Meanwhile, a big "Days of Our Lives" recast will also be seen this week. Actress Gabrielle Haugh will take over the role of Joey's girlfriend, Jade. The character was formerly played by actress Paige Searcy, who chose to leave the NBC soap opera.

Joey and Jade have been through a lot recently, and are still dealing with the pain of losing their unborn baby. The young couple seemingly has a long road ahead of them as they figure out the next step in their lives.

Say goodbye to T-Boz as Shelia

"Days of Our Lives" viewers can also expect to see actor Mike Ostroski portray the character of Detective Carp on Wednesday, January 18, and actor Peter Janov as an unnamed clerk.

Craig Welzbacher will return as the character of Myron on Thursday, and "DOOL" fans have seen the last of Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, as she has officially wrapped up her stint as Hope's prison bully, Sheila.
