With just 24 hours remaining before her purported Jan. 2 due date, "Dancing With The Stars" alum Peta Murgatroyd put her talent on display in a video posted to Instagram by Maksim Chmerkovskiy on New Years Eve.

Peta Murgatroyd rings in 2017

The video, which Chmerkovskiy filmed at the IMC Restaurant and Bar in New York, features the very pregnant Murgatroyd spinning and twirling to ring in 2017 on the arm of a male friend. Chmerkovskiy captioned the super cute clip with "First thing I saw in 2017 is @petamurgatroyd killing it on the dance floor...

we off to a good start #HappyNewYear and thank you @papazhenya for the assist"

Waiting for Baby Chmerkovskiy

Peta Murgatroyd, 30, and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 36, who own three "Dancing with the Stars" Mirrorball Trophies between them, made headlines last May when rumors surfaced that the duo were expecting their first child. In July, they revealed their little one's gender via a pair of blue baby booties that rested on Murgatroyd's 30th birthday cake.

Since then, the media has closely followed their pregnancy journey. Most recently, a Dec. 30 E! exclusive dished that Baby Chmerkovskiy's safari-themed nursery will feature elephants from his daddy's "accidental collection" as well as a custom crib --assembled by Chmerkovskiy himself-- imported from Romania.

In mid-December, the pair enjoyed a lavish baby shower hosted at Brooklyn's McCarren Hotel and Pool and attended by --among many others-- "Dancing with the Stars" alums Amber Rose and Tony Dovolani. Photos from the event, which Chmerkovskiy termed "the baby shower for the ages," featured the glowing mother-to-be looking stunning in a flowing white gown.

Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd dated on and off for several years before the former popped the question during a live performance of the Sway show in December of 2015. They plan to tie the knot later this year, after their son joins the family.

Although neither will be part of the spring season of "Dancing with the Stars," the reality TV show's 24th season will premiere in March on ABC.
