What's with the talk show appearances?

Aaron Paul recently stopped by the "Ellen Degeneres Show" and "Conan," hinting at the idea of an appearance from "Breaking Bad" character, Jesse Pinkman. He has recently been on the talk show circuit, promoting his new television show, "The Path." "The Path" is about a controversial faith that Eddie Lane (AP) follows, and has qualms with -- against the knowledge of his wife and family. Prior to this television show, he played the edgy and charismatic Jesse Pinkman on AMC's "Breaking Bad." This was the turning point of his career, as he quickly became a household name.

'Breaking Bad' success

"Breaking Bad," a show about a chemistry teacher diagnosed with cancer who goes into the drug business in order to secure his family's future before he passes away, won a total of 110 awards out of 262 nominations during its 5 seasons. The show created big buzz and was wildly successful. Members of the cast can credit the show as a breakout career point. Other stars like Bryan Cranston have hinted at returning to T.V. in order to add to the story of "Better call saul."

'Better Call Saul' flashbacks

"Better Call Saul" is the "Breaking Bad" spin-off show about the wacky lawyer who supported Jesse and Walter White through their illegal business ventures. The question of whether or not we will see an appearance by any of the original characters has been asked since before the premiere of "Better Call Saul." We've seen faces like Mike, who is Saul's "problem solver" come back to the show, but Walter White and Jesse Pinkman have been missing.

That is until recent events and public appearances have hinted at an appearance.

Pinkman returns?

When asked about the possibility of a Pinkman return, in an article by CinemaBlend, Paul stated: "All I can say is I do know is there are some very exciting surprises coming up in the second season in ‘Better Call Saul.’ So I highly, highly recommend watching the show."

This seems pretty vague, but we can assume that an appearance by Paul is coming soon.

Season 3 of "Better Call Saul" airs April 10th, 2017 at 10|9c on AMC.
